Silvia has gained significant experience in project finance, banking and finance, M&A transactions — particularly in the energy sector — as well as in corporate and real estate matters. She assists investment funds, family offices and investor groups organized in club deals, as well as industrial clients in the execution of extraordinary transactions. She also provides ongoing assistance to listed and unlisted companies on corporate governance and compliance matters, and drafts commercial contracts.
Since January 2025, she has been a Partner at Sani Zangrando Studio Legale.
Since 2021, she has been a member of the Economic Affairs Council of one of the main ecclesiastical hospitals in Southern Italy.
From February 2006 to October 2024, she was a Partner and previously a Senior Associate at Macchi di Cellere Gangemi, working in the following areas: project finance, banking and finance law, M&A transactions, corporate and real estate law. She advised domestic and international clients in relation to investment agreements (primarily in the renewable energy sector); real estate transactions (both in the leisure and industrial / large-scale distribution sectors); project financing (water services, wind and photovoltaic plants, municipal services); private equity and joint ventures; bank and corporate financing; company acquisitions; debt restructuring (both for solvent companies and companies in distress); real estate funds (review of real estate fund regulations, contribution transactions involving real estate complexes; advice on liability profiles of asset management companies and conflict-of-interest situations; assessment of the liability profile of the independent expert; due diligence on real estate funds and related agreements; drafting of written communications among asset management companies and financing banks; advisory services to the Advisory Committee).
From 2001 to 2006, she was a Senior Associate at Allen & Overy (Rome and Milan offices) in the Project Finance and Banking & Finance department.
In 2000, she was an Associate at Andersen Legal (Milan office) in the banking and financial regulatory department.
